3D imager design through multi view optimization

Standard 3D imagers exhibit a tradeoff between device size and position accuracy. We design compact and accurate multi view imagers by optimizing subsystem parameters using a multi view simulator. We find high accuracy multi view configurations that minimize a quality metric based on position uncertainties estimated using a closed form analytical solution and a Monte Carlo simulation.
